Sculpture Theatre is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, licensed by the State of Florida.
Sculpture Theatre is the originator of a unique series of concert events. It has become an important element in the cultural life of Palm Beach County school children in just five years. Our programs are not “children’s shows” - they offer sophisticated, adult entertainment.
Designed to entertain and to enlighten, each production centers on a different aspect of world culture. We hold that wide experience of art enriches and teaches. The tone of each production was established by painting and sculpture by the late Artistic Director Lee Menichetti and each show was designed and supervised by him.
Sculpture Theatre is supported by its Membership, its Board
of Directors and a Board of Advisors. An Academic Advisory Board, made up of
principals and teachers, deans and faculty from area colleges and schools coordinates
outreach to Palm Beach County schools. Invited groups of up to 1,000 students
from as many as 14 schools have seen free performances of our productions.
All performers are professional actors, singers, dancers and musicians. Each
artist is paid for his performance. Sculpture Theatre has no paid staff and
no debt (except that of gratitude to its generous members and friends).
Our productions occupy an honored place in the season’s art calendar each year.
Due to the untimely death of Lee Menichetti, we regret to announce that this will be the last production of Sculpture Theatre, Inc.
